My name is Christina I am an avid reader and writer. A good day for me is a new book, a steamy cup of tea or joe, and a large and cozy sweater. I am naturally loud and goofy, but I do claim to be an introvert, haha! 

Becoming a published author has been my dream since I was a little kid. No matter where I turned as I entered the workforce, the dream to write never disappeared. It all started in elementary school when I was never seen without a book in my hands. On road trips to see family you would see me reading by streetlight in the back of my parents van. Sorry eyesight! 

Reading was my escape, my favorite hobby, and my best friend. The characters in my books knew me and were with me no matter how life was going. Then I started to write my own, as I'm sure many of you who also read a lot can relate to. Page after page of high fantasy and dramatic short stories filled my countless notebooks. I wanted, and still want to this day, my stories to do the same thing that my favorite books did for me.

My first published book, "The Story of The Salty Sea", was a story I came up with when I was a little girl. My younger sister was afraid of the ocean, and every time we swam in the Outer Banks NC ocean she would ask me to tell her a story. I came up with "The Story of The Salty Sea" and that was the only story she wanted to hear. Now, all these years later, I published it for my niece, Juniper, in the hopes that she can change the world in her own way just like in the story. I know she can, and I know all of us can.
